The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says the refundable can and bottle deposit value will increase from 5 cents to 10 cents starting Jan. 1.
Customers will be refunded the dime when cans and bottles are returned to a retailer or redemption center.
Some beverages may not show the increase on the label, but will still be charged and refunded in the new amount.
