Store owners in the Devon section of Milford are calling on the state not to install two ramps missing from I-95 at exit 33 in Stratford.
Officials say merchants have invested millions of dollars in breathing new life into Devon.
They say the proposal to open the exits in Stratford could turn Devon into a ghost town.
The Department of Transportation did not respond to calls for their position on the issue.
