It can be hard to find that perfect meal on a budget, but this week in Connecticut restaurants may be the cheapest way to satisfy your hunger. It's Restaurant Week in Connecticut. The Connecticut Restaurant Association says many restaurants are trying to figure out how to fill their empty tables. With sales down nearly 15 percent, more than 175 restaurants are offering deals this week. At the Tuscan Oven in Norwalk, diners can save $15 per person by ordering off the price-fixe menu. ?I think people right now are looking for value so it's a perfect way to get people back who haven't been able to dine out as much as they'd like,? says Jon Paul Pirraglia, of Tuscan Oven. Restaurant Week runs until Saturday, but some business owners say pre-fixed prices could become a menu staple.
