Doctors in southwestern Connecticut say a big part of what is causing many to be coughing and sneezing may have to do with school being back in session.
Fairfield Urgent Care's Medical Director Dr. Kilbourn Gordon recommends those who touch common surfaces to wash their hands before they touch their face. He says cold viruses get into your system through your eyes, nose and mouth.
Doctors say the precautions you would take to protect yourself from the common cold are the same precautions you would use to combat the flu.
