Gov. Ned Lamont attended an outdoor church service in Bridgeport today.
Iglesia Bautista Emanuel celebrated Mass this morning in a lot on Grant Street.
Worshipers stayed by their cars during the service and wore masks to maintain social distancing.
Gov. Lamont addressed the protests going on across Connecticut, encouraging people to keep making their voices heard.
"We have to get up and stand up, stand up for your rights,” says Gov. Lamont. “Get up, stand up, don't give up the fight, don't give up the fight."

State Rep. Chris Rosario also attended today's service.
