DOT hands out face masks to Stamford commuters

The Department of Transportation gave away free face masks to those commuting in Stamford while using public transportation Tuesday.

The Department of Transportation gave away free face masks to those commuting in Stamford while using public transportation Tuesday.
Commuters at the Stewart B. McKinney Transportation Center were given a free mask.
Officials say it's part of a statewide effort by Connecticut DOT to provide masks to bus riders throughout the state.
Officials say face coverings are required for riders on all public transportation in the state.
