The Downtown Cabaret Theatre in Bridgeport is getting ready for opening night of its final production ever.
Dress rehearsals are underway for "A Chorus Line." Performances will begin Friday June 5 and will continue on weekends through June 28.
The theater announced earlier this year that it would be closing after 50 years due to rising operating costs.
"The one wish I have is for the remaining shows to be sold out, and I got my wish," says executive director Hugh Hallinan.
Tickets may be still available for close to sold-out shows or limited seated shows on the Downtown Cabaret's website or call the box office at 203-576-1636.
