A drive-by celebration was held for a 9-year-old girl from Bridgeport Saturday.

Valentina Alvarez is in third grade at the Multicultural Magnate School. She says she understands the importance of social distancing, but that didn't stop her and her mother from having a good time.

The family thanked city Councilwoman Michelle Lyons for helping organize the event.
