Many drivers across southwestern Connecticut are delighting by dropping gas prices, but some say they?re still paying too much per gallon.
According to AAA, the average price of regular gas has dropped $.37 since July, which brought the state average down to $3.99 a gallon for unleaded.
Experts say the drop is caused by decreasing oil prices and demand.
"I like that they're going down,? Erica Hinds, of Stamford, says. ?It's definitely a good thing because the way jobs are going, the market and stuff. Less money out of your pockets is definitely a good thing."
AAA says Connecticut still has the ninth- highest gas prices in the country.
