Bridgeport's Klein Memorial Auditorium will host a live "Dungeons & Dragons" event this week to benefit the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.
The live event is based upon a story written by author Gregory Wilson.
"Having it on stage, we're going to have images projected on the screens, a big gaming board that people can follow along with -- it's just got a lot of moving parts that make it fun," said the Auditorium's Laurence Caso.
"Being able to show that on stage in front of an audience and in front of my friends in the community is just an incredible opportunity," said Fairfield Warde High School senior Adam Petrosino.
"One of the greatest experiences is being able to be invested in a story with a group of people. I'm a big fan of community and storytelling, and this stuff sort of brings it together," Wilson told News 12 Connecticut.
Tickets for the show, which will be livestreamed, are available at the Klein box office and online.
