East Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob reopened on Sunday evening after being closed for much of the day due to a water main break. Officials say the water has been turned off and repairs are in the works.

East Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob reopened on Sunday evening after being closed for much of the day due to a water main break.
Officials say the water has been turned off and repairs are in the works.
Fire and police crews responded to the area just after 8 p.m. on Saturday.
The road was then closed to all westbound traffic at Strickland Road.
