(AP) - Easton police are trying to solve a rabbitriddle: Who abandoned nearly three dozen bunnies outside a townresident's home in separate incidents over the past three weeks?
The most recent episode occurred Monday, when 21 shiveringrabbits and five guinea pigs were found in a box outside the home.
A rabbit rescue group named Hop A Long Hollow has been workingwith the property owner to find homes for the bunnies, either atshelters or with people who want to adopt them.
The group's vice president, Brandee McBride-LaCava, says herorganization and the Humane Society have taken in some of therabbits and others have already been adopted.
Local police and animal control officers are investigating.
