(AP) - Former Connecticut CongressmanChristopher Shays has filed documents with the Federal ElectionCommission that detail what he says is $190,000 in thefts by aformer aide from his 2008 campaign. The amended reports for last year's campaign filed Monday nightwere obtained by the Connecticut Post. The documents claim Shays'former campaign manager, Michael Sohn of Fairfield, embezzled themoney. The documents say Sohn took about $83,000 in campaign checkswritten to himself, $70,000 that he withdrew from ATMs, $16,000 inpayroll money, $11,000 in cell phone charges and $11,000 in otherunapproved spending. A grand jury has been investigating the missing money. Shaysfiled a complaint against Sohn with the FEC last month. Sohn's lawyer, Alex Hernandez, declined to comment Monday.
