Energy experts are warning southwestern Connecticut drivers that they will be paying more at the pump due to supply concerns and tensions in Iraq.

They say the tensions will cause a small spike in the price residents pay for gasoline. AAA says that prices are up for the fourth straight day in Connecticut, with the average coming in at $3.60 a gallon. That price comes in two cents higher than yesterday, four cents from last week and 32 cents than this time last year.

Southwestern Connecticut residents say that the jump in price is affecting all of Connecticut with average prices rising by as much as six cents from Stratford to Westport to Stamford.
