A man was sentenced to four years in prison for stealing from banks where he worked for nearly a decade, according to prosecutors.

James Blose, general counsel at Hudson Valley Bank and Sterling National Bank, stole portions of closing costs and sale proceeds.

Blose's schemes netted about $7.4 million.
