Fairfield police are searching for two suspects after they say a college student was attacked yesterday during a home invasion. Police say the break-in happened at around 10 p.m. on Reef Road, where two masked men allegedly entered the home and tied up the 22-year-old Fairfield University student in his kitchen. They say the victim was badly beaten and had several items stolen. The neighborhood is known for its off-campus student housing, and police say they are working with university officials to inform other students of the incident. He was taken to Saint Vincent's Medical Center and is expected to recover. Anyone with information is urged to call Fairfield police at 203-254-4800.
