False swatting call at Danbury Fair Mall prompts police response

A swatting call prompted a police response at the Danbury Fair Mall this weekend, but authorities determined the threat was not credible.
Officers arrived at the mall around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and quickly established there was no danger to the public. The mall reopened for business as usual shortly after.
The Danbury Police Department is investigating the incident.
