Many families in southwestern Connecticut celebrated Father's Day and Irish heritage at the annual Fairfield County Irish Festival Sunday.
The event was held at Fairfield University.
The festival featured traditional Irish food, live pipe bands and Irish step dancers.
Under sunny skies, fathers who spoke to News 12 said it was the perfect way to spend Father's Day.
