The family of a young mother is offering a $5,000 reward to help find the hit-and-run driver responsible for killing their loved one.
Family and friends of 23-year-old Rachel Sack have posted signs all over Danbury in an effort to get information about the accident. Sack was struck and killed last month at the intersection of South Street and Great Pasture Road. Family members say they are frustrated and want justice.
Danbury police say they are continuing to follow leads in the case. They say surveillance video of a white utility vehicle triggered a lot of response, but the accident remains a mystery.
Family and friends hope their efforts will prompt someone to come forward with information.
