A family spokesperson for Jennifer Dulos released a statement on behalf of her family Friday as the one-year anniversary of her disappearance nears.
Carrie Luft wrote the statement on behalf of the family and friends of Jennifer which read in part, "We miss Jennifer beyond words. The ache of her absence doesn’t go away. Countless questions remain unanswered. The brutality and inhumanity of her death and disappearance continue to haunt us, without subsiding."
The statement goes on to say that Jennifer has not been forgotten, and that the investigation into her death and disappearance is active and ongoing.
Michelle Troconis, a woman charged with conspiracy to commit murder and evidence tampering in the Jennifer Dulos case, released a statement Thursday admitting that it was a mistake to trust Fotis Dulos.

Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of Jennifer was charged with murdering his wife prior to dying a day after attempting to take his own life.
Jennifer went missing on May 24, 2019, and was last seen dropping her children off at school in New Canaan.
