The celebration of the Giants? Super Bowl win continued Monday as fans flooded southwestern Connecticut sporting goods stores to snatch up championship gear.
Employees at the Bob?s Sports Store in Norwalk restocked the shelves throughout the day. They said as soon as they put out shirts and hats, fans picked them up.
Many fans said they were thrilled the G-Men won. Most of them were proud of quarterback Eli Manning, who was the MVP.
Meanwhile, fans looking to celebrate a little bit longer can head to New York City Tuesday for a ticker-tape parade. It will begin at 11 a.m. at Battery Place and end with a ceremony at City Hall Plaza.
