FBI reportedly investigating Greenwich sex case
Greenwich police say they've asked the FBI to investigate after detectives allegedly discovered child porn at the home of a local music teacher.
Steve Allen, 57, allegedly killed himself last month.
Parents and students News 12 Connecticut spoke with say Allen was a well-loved teacher and they're shocked by the allegations.
Police say when one of their detectives searched Allen's Cos Cob apartment after his death, they found sexually explicit pictures of kids from other countries.
They say no photos were found with any local children and it appears the pictures were taken from the Internet.
Allen taught music for the Greenwich Public Schools for the past 33 years.
Police say the FBI investigation into this case could take several weeks.
