The FDA has approved the first vaccine to protect infants against RSV, a respiratory virus that can be deadly.
The new shot, from Pfizer, will be given to pregnant mothers.
In clinical trials, it reduced the risk of severe RSV by 82% for newborns.
But before the shot is ready for the public, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention need to also give it the green light.
