A fire caused major damage to a condominium complex in Stamford Wednesday night.
The fire broke out on Southfield Avenue just before 8 p.m.
Fire officials say they evacuated people from 10 units and that at least two people were displaced. There was no word yet on the total number of people evacuated.
They also say one person was injured after tripping outside of the condo.
News 12 is told that the Red Cross is assisting at least both of the residents who were displaced.
Officials say the fire marshal's investigation into the cause of the fire was delayed due to the fire compromising the structure of the building. An official cause was not yet determined.
