Fire officials: 7 people displaced in Norwalk apartment fire

Norwalk Fire Department as well as members from the Stamford fire department responded.

An apartment building caught fire early this morning leaving 7 people without a home.
 
The fire broke out at an apartment on North Avenue around 12:45 a.m.
 
Norwalk Fire Department as well as members from the Stamford fire department responded.
Officials say there are no injuries but there is damage to most of the 10 apartments in the building.
 
Markowitz says the fire was spreading inside the walls, and they believe the fire started inside the kitchen.
The American Red Cross is helping to find temporary shelter for those who are displaced.
