Fire officials say a box truck hit a telephone pole in Norwalk Thursday, causing delays.

They say the truck hit the pole on East Avenue just north of Route 1 around 3:30 p.m., and that the impact of the crash brought a second pole down.

A transformer also blew. No injuries were reported, but lane closures will be in place until repairs are made.
