A car burst into flames in Brookfield Wednesday evening, officials say.
It happened on Sandy Lane just after 5:15 p.m.
Upon their arrival, firefighters found the vehicle fully engulfed.
Two people were able to get out of the vehicle and were waiting outside for first responders, according to authorities.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire and contain the fuel leak.
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection responded to see if fuel went into catch basins.
No one was injured.
