A vicious fire raged through Stamford Sunday afternoon, severely damaging three homes and completely destroying one warehouse.
Stamford fire officials say a fire started on the second floor of the former Yale and Towne factory at 45 Cedar St. The fire progressed quickly, spreading to three neighboring homes.
Officials say the Yale and Towne factory went up in flames just two years ago and renovation of the building was scheduled for the end of this year.
Though 15 people are without homes, there were no injuries. Officials say they are still uncertain of what caused the fire inside the abandoned factory.
