A firefighter suffered second-degree burns and seven residents were displaced by a fire at a Milford condo complex Sunday.
Doors at the home at 315 Foxwood Ln. were left boarded up, and smoke residue and damage to windows could be seen on the second floor.
News 12 was on the scene when several fire crews were still spraying to put the fire out.
Ann Shattuck, a 100-year-old resident, lives next to the unit and said a neighbor knocked on her door to help her evacuate.
Four apartments sustained serious damage inside and on the back exteriors. The Milford Fire Department says they are now unlivable.
All seven residents who were displaced safely escaped the fire.
A firefighter was transported to Bridgeport Hospital with second-degree burns to his hand and shoulder.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
