Firefighters worked to extricate a driver after their pickup truck collided with a tractor-trailer Thursday in Norwalk, according to authorities.

Officials say the accident happened after 11 p.m. on I-95 North. It took crews 25 minutes to free the pickup driver at the scene.

Authorities say the driver was conscious and alert following the crash.

They were hospitalized for treatment. Their condition is unknown.
