The Oxford Volunteer Fire Department rescued a horse that had fallen through the ice and was stuck in a pond on Chestnut Tree Hill Road Monday.
Firefighters say the horse was stuck in 5 feet of water, and they used chainsaws to cut through ice and make a path. Rescuers then used a rope to guide the horse to shore.
