The first babies of 2025 have arrived in Bridgeport.

Phoniex was born at Bridgeport Hospital at 2:33 a.m., weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and measuring 22 inches long. She is the youngest of three, joining 5-year-old Nikolai and 4-year-old Blanca in the family.

Just two hours later, little Emilia was born at Saint Vincent's Medical Center, weighing 9 pounds. Her parents, Samantha and Travis, are overjoyed with their New Year's gift.
