Flames seriously damage Stamford house

Fire officials say the blaze broke out just after 9 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue.

A Stamford house was seriously damaged by flames Thursday night.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out just after 9 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue.
Flames were shooting out of the back of the house.
Fire damage was contained to the second floor and attic space of the residence. Several family pets were located and saved.
There were no injuries. There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
