Fairfield police say a routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a wanted fugitive out of Florida.
Police say Willie Edwards, 43, was stopped on Kings Highway yesterday because his car did not have a front license plate.
Investigators say he was immediately arrested after they learned he was wanted for kidnapping and assault.
