Snow will be reduced to flurries with an additional dusting to an inch possible Monday night.
Drivers are urged to be cautious due to freezing and slippery roads.
A coastal flood advisory has also been issued for Monday night.
A second clipper system will move through the area on Tuesday, which will deliver an additional inch or two, with the bulk of that snow falling later in the day toward the evening commute.
Southwestern Connecticut will continue to see some flurries on Wednesday and Thursday with little to no accumulation
It gets much colder for Friday and Saturday, when highs will top out only in the 20s and lows could reach the single-digits.
