Former Norwalk school employee accused of stealing from student athletic fund

A former bookkeeper for Brien McMahon High School is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the Norwalk school's student athletic fund.
Marilyn Knox is charged with larceny. Police say she stole nearly $36,000 from the account between July 2021 and January 2023.
They say the money was used for personal expenses.
Knox was fired from the school following an investigation. She is expected to be in court on Sept. 11.
