A former Stratford police officer accused of taking and passing confidential information from a police application faced a judge Wednesday.
Former Stratford Police Sgt. Shawn Farmer allegedly took information from a police department computer system without authorization after Mayor Jim Miron's younger brother applied to become an officer in 2008.
Farmer pleaded not guilty Wednesday, along with two current Stratford officers who have also been charged. Farmer is due back in court next month.
