Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing New Canaan woman Jennifer Dulos, appeared in Hartford court Friday for a hearing in a civil lawsuit filed by the mother of his estranged wife.
Gloria Farber is suing Fotis Dulos over millions of dollars she says that she loaned him for his real-estate development company prior to Jennifer's disappearance.
Farber’s attorney claims that Fotis Dulos owes her family $2.5 million.
Farber’s attorney asked the judge to up the pre-judgement remedy from $500,000 to $2.5 million dollars. But today the judge denied his request.
The hearing comes after Fotis Dulos was arrested this week for a second time in connection Jennifer's disappearance.
He had no comment as he left the courthouse, but his attorney only said that today went well.
Gloria Farber's attorney was visibly upset as he left court.
The trial for the case is set to begin Dec. 3.
Fotis Dulos and co-defendant Michelle Troconis are due back this month in court in connection with Jennifer's disappearance.
