New Canaan residents are mourning the loss of a 21-year-old man killed this weekend in a Marist College house fire. Kevin Johnson died early Saturday morning when an off-campus apartment caught fire. He graduated from New Canaan High School in 2008. Former students there say they are shocked by the tragedy. "Just kind of stunned that somebody that we all saw as such a good person could be so quickly taken away from us," says Trevor Harvey, who met Johnson in fifth grade. Two other students, Eva Block, of Woodbridge, and Kerry Fitzsimons, of Long Island, were also killed in the blaze. Friends say Johnson's funeral will likely be held this Friday, Jan. 27.
