Donations are pouring in for the family that was beaten and stabbed before a responding officer killed a Fairfield father this week.
A GoFundMe page was set up for Kathleen Andrews and her three children. More than $120,000 has already been raised for the family.
Police say Kathleen Andrew's husband, Christopher Andrews, attacked the family in their Mountain Laurel Road home. A responding officer shot and killed Christopher Andrews, who was armed with a knife, according to police.
A vigil for the family will be held Sunday at Old Town Hall. The event is being organized by town officials and the Center for Family Justice.
