Gov. Lamont: Coronavirus death toll in the state tops 1,000

BRIEFING UPDATES:
-More than 1,000 people in Connecticut have died from the coronavirus.
-Lower number of hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.
-Fairfield has the highest number of hospitalizations.
-CVS rapid testing site opened Friday. Free testing with results in 15 minutes. First responders get first 100 tests each day. Can test 700 a day.
-4 first responders tested positive Friday at the CVS testing site.
-Food supply is strong in the state, Lamont state.
-Dept. of Mental Health and Addiction Services Commissioner Miriam E. Delphin-Rittmon talked about online support groups for people struggling with drugs, alcohol, depression, anxiety or other issues during this time.
-The department is launching a public service announcement announcement for people who need to reach out during this time. People who need it can call 1-833-258-5011 or go to TalkItOutCT.com.
-Lamont says he feels "wonderful" and "proud" to be making a difference in people's lives during this time.
-Lamont says it has not been decided whether to close the marinas to New Yorkers but the decision will be made with other states.
