Gov. Lamont extends cold weather protocol through Friday

The protocol went into effect on Monday and was originally set to expire on the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 9

Gov. Ned Lamont today announced Wednesday that he is extending the duration of the state's severe cold weather protocol to remain in effect until 12 p.m. on Friday.
The protocol went into effect on Monday and was originally set to expire on the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 9.
Shelters and warming centers are open, and anyone in need of a place to stay warm can get nearby locations by calling 211or viewing the list of available options that has been published online at 211ct.org.
