Gov. Ned Lamont says those traveling to Connecticut from other high-risk states could receive fines if they don't follow new coronavirus safety requirements.

Gov. Lamont says CT will not issue fines for quarantine violators, unlike NY
Gov. Ned Lamont says those traveling to Connecticut from other high-risk states will not be fined if they violate quarantine.
He says the state does plan on drafting language that "closely mirrors" New York's, but that a fine won't be part of it.
 
Travelers from a total of 19 states are subject to a self-quarantine upon arriving in Connecticut.
