Gov. Lamont signs new laws including mental health days for students, free calls for inmates

Gov. Ned Lamont signed several bills Wednesday including one that allows free calls for inmates and another that lets students take two mental health days.
Candidates can also now use public funds for child car, and nursing home residents now have camera access to see loved ones.
Lamont also signed the Bottle Bill, raising the bottle deposit for first time in decades to pay for expanded recycling  and expands it to more drinks.
