Gov. Lamont wrapped up his first day on the job with the Governor's Inaugural Ball held at the Hartford Convention Center Wednesday.
The new governor entered through long lines of foot guards in colorful regalia.

The musical headliner was former Republican congressman turned TV host Joe Scarborough and his band.
