Gov. Ned Lamont's office says Connecticut has well over 25,000 cases of coronavirus.
The governor's office reports nearly 700 new cases since Saturday.
While the number of cases is up, the number of hospitalizations is down for the second day in a row.
As of Sunday, there were more than 1,700 people in the hospital.
The number of deaths is approaching 2,000.
Across the country, there are almost a million cases of the virus - globally, nearly 3 million.
