Gov. Dannel Malloy called for support from both sides of the aisle to address Connecticut's budget deficit.
Malloy said the shortfall in the budget has increased by another $120 million due to the downturn in the stock market and slower income growth than projected.
The governor said he does not want to make any decisions without hearing from lawmakers and residents.
Malloy said new talks will have to focus on some difficult cuts, but added the cuts have to be within reason.
