Students at Greenwich's Central Middle School will be learning in other school buildings in town all this week after an independent contractor found structural concerns that made the building unsafe to occupy.
After catching their bus to Central Middle School Monday, students were shuttled to three other school buildings in town, as Central's building undergoes maintenance.
School officials say when Diversified Technology Consultants filed its report last week, they found structural concerns with the building that made it unsafe for occupancy.
Some parents told News 12 they're just glad the issue is being resolved now.
Officials say Central faculty spent Monday getting their students settled in their temporary new homes.
Greenwich students are on winter break next week. District officials say they hope to have the issue resolved by the following Tuesday.
