Greenwich declared a snow emergency ahead of Wednesday's storm.

Trees remained down, more than a dozen roads were still closed and hundreds were without power Tuesday after Friday's nor'easter. An Eversource Energy spokesperson said dozens of crews were working as quickly as possible to restore service.

DPW crews were bringing in outside help to deal with the debris already on the roads.

Carmen Vitiello, of the Greenwich Highway Department, said he's worried about what Wednesday's storm could do to already weakened trees and sagging power lines.

"The duration, the amount of snow per hour," he said. "That's a big concern."

The Highway Department said it'll have more than 50 people working overnight to keep the roads clear.

Officials said residents without power should look to stay with family or friends for the duration of Wednesday's storm. It could bring up to 12 inches of snow.
