407ds agoA home was damaged during a fire on Carpenters Brook Road in Greenwich, officials say.
The fire happened at a home next to the Tamarack Country Club and Route 684 Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters say the remote location of the fire also meant no hydrants in the area, so they took water from a nearby pond.
The fire started in the garage, and spread to the living area above it, but crews were able to keep the fire from taking the home.
No one was hurt.
